WATCH: Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford Star Together in ‘Blade Runner 2049’

Thirty-five years after the first Blade Runner film came out, the sequel is finally coming to us on the silver screen on October 2017. The first Blade Runner film, which came out in 1982, is about “a dystopian Los Angeles in which genetically engineered replicants, which are visually indistinguishable from adult humans, are manufactured by the powerful Tyrell Corporation,” according to the film’s synopsis. “The plot focuses on a group of recently-escaped replicants.”

The sequel, however, Blade Runner 2049 will star La La Land actor Ryan Gosling, who will be the new Blade Runner. The trailer features no action-packed scenes; just a slow, intense scenario as Ryan Gosling walks in a mansionโ€”and ultimately finds himself face to face with the original Blade Runner, and a gun pointed right to Gosling’s face.
