Last Sunday, American singer P!NK inspired many through her short but sweet speech during the 2017 VMA’s.
The 37-year-old received the Video Vanguard Award, according to Time. She also “performed a medley of her music” prior to accepting the award, as reported by the same website.
The video shows how P!nk turned emotional in her speech where she was able to share an encounter with her six-year-old daughter. The camera also occasionally turned to the American singer’s daughter Willow Sage Hart and husband Carey Hart who were watching and listening to her.
She ends her speech by directly addressing her daughter in the crowd that she was beautiful and she loved her.
