Jurassic Park is one of the world’s highest grossing movie franchises of all time, giving us a look at how dinosaurs behaved across four films from 1993 to 2015. A sequel is coming out in 2018 and we just got our first look in this six second video on Twitter!
Watch the clip below:
— Colin Trevorrow (@colintrevorrow) November 22, 2017
The clip was posted by Colin Trevorrow, who directed 2015’s Jurassic World and will produce next year’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and shows Chris Pratt reprising his role as raptor whisperer Owen Grady. In the clip, he’s seen interacting with a baby raptor. The tweet is captioned “From our Jurassic family to yours.”
There’s no word what Fallen Kingdom will be about but Trevorrow once said at the Sitges Film Festival in Spain, “The dinosaurs will be a parable of the treatment animals receive today: the abuse, medical experimentation, pets, having wild animals in zoos like prisons, the use the military has made of them, animals as weapons.”
It will star Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jeff Goldblum (who starred in the original film and its sequel, The Lost World: Jurassic Park), Ted Levine, Rafe Spall, Toby Jones, Geraldine Chaplin, Daniella Pineda, and Justice Smith.
The film will premiere on June 22, 2018.
