Wanderland Festival changed the landscape for music festivals in the Philippines when it first premiered in the country in 2013. Introducing itself as an annual music and arts festival, Wanderland promised to bring to the Philippine stage some of the best acts from around the world, while also placing under the spotlight some of the country’s best and emerging talents that deserved to be heard and known.

And for the past 10 installments, it did just that. Since 2013, Wanderland Festival has brought to the Philippines some of the most talented (and beloved) acts in music, such as Bon Iver, Death Cab for Cutie, Kid Cudi, The Drums, Two Door Cinema Club, The Temper Trap, RAC, The Ting Tings, Explosions in the Sky, FKJ, The Kooks, and many more.
And while the festival took a hiatus from 2020 to 2022 due to the pandemic, it emerged with an epic comeback in 2023 with major headliners Carly Rae Jepsen and Phoenix. In 2024, another two iconic acts headlined the festival—Jack Johnson swooned festival-goers on day 1, while Thundercat blew everyone’s minds with his riffs on day 2.
But here’s another reason why we love Wanderland Festival. While the fest works hard to bring your favorite (and requested) acts to the country, it also uses its stage to introduce some of the Philippines’ best, as well as young, up-and-coming acts.
Here are some of the biggest local artists we’ve seen on the Wanderland stage throughout the years: Up Dharma Down, Franco, Rico Blanco, Sandwich, Taken by Cars, Hale, Jess Connelly, Quest, IV of Spades, and Autotelic; and then up-and-coming artists that are also some of the country’s well-loved acts now: Ben&Ben, Lola Amour, The Ransom Collective, Reese Lansangan, Adoy, Clara Benin, August Wahh, and Party Pace.

And now, to celebrate a milestone, its 10th year, Wanderland Festival is throwing it back with a lineup that features some of its alumni. Check out this year’s lineup below:
Canadian artist Daniel Caesar will bring his signature neo-soul, smooth R&B tunes to the Wanderland stage as day 1 headliner. Daniel Caesar is no stranger to the Wanderland stage, having been a part of the 2018 lineup. He will be joined on stage by indie electro artist Chet Faker, dream pop act Dayglow, and local acts Mayonnaise and Sinosikat? for day 1.
On day 2, another Wanderland alum takes the headlining spot: Honne. A well-loved act in the Philippines, Honne has performed multiple times in the country since their first time in 2017, which was at Wanderland. They returned to the festival in 2019, and again now as a headliner for Wanderland Festival’s 10th year. Seems only fitting!
Honne will be joined on stage by international artists Plain White T’s and The Paper Kites, as well as local acts Urbandub and Dilaw.
