Another huge volleyball event is taking place on Philippine soil!
Philippines will be host to the best Volleyball leagues in the World Cup Championship (WCC) on October 18 to 23 at MOA Arena, Pasay city.
The best teams from Europe, South America, and Asia will come together in the meet, including 2015 Asian Club champion Thailand.
On September, the Philippines will also host the Asia Women’s Cup Championship; PSL Grand Prix champ Foton will represent the Philippines in the Asian meet.
For the World Cup, the Philippine team will bring together the best aces of the PSL, along with six imports, to go up against the world’s best Volleyball clubs.
According to reports, it’s the first time the Philippines will hold the world meet and is a testament of the growth of the sport in the country.
Twelve teams will see action in the Asian Clubs and is slated Sept. 3 to 13, while the World Clubs will have eight teams, along with the Philippines as host team.
