Last night’s game ended with Rain or Shine on top a second time against the Beermen with a hairline 2-point lead, 98-96, giving them an edge in the best-of-5 semifinals match for the PBA Commissioner’s cup.
Lassiter’s big three would have won the tight match in favor of the Beermen and given the team breathing space in the semifinals, but he failed to let the ball fly before the buzzer.
With RoS up by 2 games already, the Beermen will need to seriously up their game in the following match-ups to earn a seat in the finals.
