In its 9th year, the University of the Philippines Parking Lot – Pusoy (UPPL Pusoy) held its annual fundraising event on May 3, 2025. This year’s event was named “Full House IX: Sin City.” The casino-themed event took place at Albergo Hall, Albergo Hotel, Baguio City.
As a special interest organization focused on sports and music at the University of the Philippines Baguio, UPPL Pusoy believed in the skills of student athletes and invested in developing their talents. The organization’s mission to support athletes extended beyond the university. In the previous year, Full House VIII: Royal Affair sponsored the UPB Volleyball Team and the Combat Sports athletes of Baguio City National High School. Continuing its commitment to empowering young athletes, the proceeds of Full House IX: Sin City were donated to FC Barrio, a non-profit organization nurturing the potential of young football athletes in Baguio City.
But what could one expect from a fundraising event? Full House IX: Sin City was not a typical event for a cause—it was a house party designed for maximum enjoyment. The event featured entrance shots, overflowing booze, games, and prizes. Guests indulged in the lively vibe with beer pong matches and liquid guns flowing throughout the night.
Partygoers were treated to an unforgettable night filled with their favorite party anthems. When the energy began to dip, the event transitioned into its signature Love Hour—a mellow segment with lighter drinks and intimate music, perfect for mingling with fellow attendees.
In addition to the festivities, UPPL Pusoy remained steadfast in its advocacy of promoting safe sex and ending the stigma surrounding sexually transmitted diseases. A free HIV testing booth was made available during the event, ensuring a confidential and judgment-free environment for those who participated.
Attendees were encouraged to come dressed in their best casino-inspired outfits. Regular tickets were priced at P350, with walk-in tickets available for P400. The event was open to everyone aged 18 and above.
The house had dealt—and it was a winning hand.
