That’s all it took for Conor “Notorious One”McGregor to take down and take home the featherweight championship belt from the 10-year undefeated Jose Aldo.
As surprising as it sounds, all it took a perfectly placed left hook counter to the face to knock Aldo down the canvas, and a hammerfist to force the referee John McCarthy to call the match.
Upon entering UFC in 2013, McGregor has been slowly gaining popularity, and is known for his trash talking.
He now has seven wins and no losses in the UFC, and holds the top seat of the featherweight division. Here’s a video of his fight with Aldo.
