When the president of your school writes a letter before the finals match, you just know you have to play a winning game; and FEU’s president did just that.
On Monday evening, FEU’s official Facebook page posted a letter, written by FEU President Michael M. Alba, congratulating the Tamaraws for reaching the finals and calling on the studentry to help boost the team’s morale in their fight against UST on Wednesday.
To make sure students and employees can watch the game, the letter even announced that classes in FEU Manila and FEU Makati will only be until 12 noon so that they can go to MOA to “turn it into a sea of GOLD and drown all sound in Tamaraw cheers.”
Now you can expect a full house for the Tamaraws.
FEU will face off against UST in a best-of-three finals match which will determine the UAAP champion for this season. UST last won the championships in 2006, while the Tamaraws fell short in the finals last season, losing to the NU bulldogs.
Here’s a copy of the letter:
Will you be there to support the Tamaraws?[fb_instant_article_ad_01]?
