Fans had been waiting for a tour inside Kim Chiu’s rest house following the first video of her two-part vlog released last week. Finally, the actress/host unveiled part two of her rest house tour late Sunday night. “Ito na ‘yon. Papapasukin ko na po kayo sa aking humble abode,” she introed. “Let’s go!”
In the recently released YouTube video, she described the interior design as “homey minimalist.” According to her, maintaining minimal furniture was important since the space was rarely used, making upkeep more convenient.
Upon entrance, guests are welcomed into the living area which Kim says is her favorite chill spot. The room’s furniture is tied together with an agate gemstone-designed carpet, creating a sense of harmony inside, specifically at the center of her home. Furthermore, it features a wonderful view of the Taal volcano through its glass window panes, which even gets more beautiful during sunrise.
The kitchen and dining area are located on the second floor of the rest house, where you can still see the lake. And while having a meal at her six-seater dining set, you will be drawn to a painting she acquired from Bangkok – “another pangpaswerte as a feng shui enthusiast,” she described. Apparently, the house is filled with “luck activators” including a money tree that helps her recharge before coming back to Metro Manila.
Finally, Kim took her viewers to the floor where bedrooms are…but not inside them just yet. She first flexed the balcony with a “breathtaking view!” This is where the “Chinita Princess” loves to either host parties or reflect and ponder about life, especially when the weather is great.
“What else can you ask for in life,” she said as she enjoyed the rest house she was able to build. “Good job, Kim. You worked so hard,” she added as she patted herself on the back. “You did it!”
