7. Thai Milk Tea from Maliwan Thai Kitchen (P70)
As a milk tea obsessed blogger, I must say that Thai Milk Tea is one of the best milk teas I have ever had. The grassy taste of the tea combined with pungent spices, and the minty sweetness of condensed milk will definitely make you swoon. The unique minty flavor of the tea perfectly complements the spicy flavor of the Pad Thai, which makes this drink an absolute stunner.
6. Korean Bao from Seoul Food (P115)
If you’re a lover of all things Korean, then you are going to have a great time at the Seoul Food Truck. One of their main specialties is the Korean bao, which have an extremely fluffy and soft texture. Each bun is filled in with crunchy chicken bao, chicken curry and deep fried chicken thighs slathered in kogi, barbeque sauce, Korean slaw and butter. The large fillings nudge out of the bun, too, making it a delightfully generous budget-friendly treat.
5. Quesadillas from Off Duty MexiGrub (P160)
Quesadillas are an old Mexican favorite, but Off Duty keeps the dish interesting with an American twist. The fluffy and chewy texture of the tortilla contrasts well with the fillings, flavored with beef melted cheese and vegetables. Along with its size, one of the main highlights of this quesadilla is its spicy salsa. The cheesy ground beef combined with the spicy aftertaste of the sauce will instantly satisfy your tastebuds, and its sweet and spicy tang will make you crave for more.
4. Rocco’s Lasagna from Rocco’s Italian Cuisine (P165)
Imagine a warm serving of lasagna straight out of a firebrick oven, smothered in tomato meat sauce and bechamel, and topped with cheesy mozzarella. Once you delve into this dish, you will feel the satisfying creaminess of crushed tomatoes and beef combined with the crisp texture of strips of lasagna. Each layer is a delicious treat, perfect for nights with your family, or even bonding sessions on the couch with your friends.
3. Tutti le carni from Rocco’s Italian Cuisine (P195)
Tutti le carni’s base is fresh dough minced with mild Italian sausage. This luscious and delectable treat is topped with bacon, pepperoni, tomato sauce and oregano. When I took my first bite, the distinct tang of the Italian sausage and the multitude flavors of toppings instantly made their mark. What’s even more amazing is that all of its ingredients are freshly made, creating a pizza that’s a little piece of heaven. Overall, the dish proves its worth. Not only is it affordable, but its ingredients are definitely of top quality, too.
2. Smoke Riblets from Barrel Smoker (P185)
Perfectly smoked ribs are hard to find. Fortunately, Barrel Smokers specialises in intricately barrel-smoked ribs. The smoke riblets that they serve are smoked for 4 to 5 hours! That’s definitely miles away from the ribs served in most restaurants. In fact, the meat is so soft that tearing off its chunks is surprisingly easy. The smoked ribs are also slightly sweet.
1. Maple Bourbon Smoke Belly from Barrel Smokers (P165)
Ready to savor soft and chewy meat that just melts in your mouth? Then be sure to try Barrel Smoker’s bestseller: the Maple Bourbon Smoke Belly. The dish is fresh and intricately prepared since it stay in the marinade for at least 24 hours to ensure that the meat is tender with a tantalizing smell of barrel-spiked smoke. Upon eating, you will instantly notice that the dish is flavorful with a subtle sweet taste of maple and bourbon. It’s so delicious that you won’t be able to resist it!
