Tom Rodriguez revealed that he’s currently seeing someone but kept the identity of his new partner in private.
The “My Husband’s Lover” actor returned to the Philippines in January after taking a two-year hiatus from showbiz in the United States following his breakup with ex-wife Carla Abellana in 2022.
In an interview with GMA Integrated News, he talked about his healing journey, emphasizing he focused on self-love and self-growth during his break.

Tom said crossing paths with Carla doesn’t matter to him that much and wished her well, “We have our own paths and our own lives now, and I wish her well and hers.”
He also admitted that he’s completely healed now and ready for his comeback in the showbiz. When asked about second chances in love and wanting to fall in love again, he happily revealed he’s dating someone.
“In fact, I am seeing someone,” he reiterated. “Once I was ready, it came at the right time. At that point, I thought it would never happen again.”
However, the actor chose to keep his partner’s identity to himself, “Magdadamot ako ata. Like what I said, I really want to keep it to myself. But like I said, I’ll live my life like how it is, so, eventually siguro everyone would like. What they see is what they get. But for now, it’s my own now.”
Tom and Carla tied the knot in October 2021 after being in a relationship for seven years. They confirmed their split in June 2022.
