Tinukib is an intimate festival, celebrating life’s colourful experiences, seductive tribal drums and energizing techno pop music in a majestic jungle, surrounded by luscious mountains and a magnificent view of the ocean  in Zambales. Tinukib comes from the Hiligaynon term Tukib which means ” to Discover”.  It is the first and only jungle festival in the Philippines that aim to not only promote self-discovery, environmental awareness, and amazing escape from the chaotic life of the city; but to also let people experience a transcendental state  for emotional, physical, spiritual, and mental healing through music, meditation sessions, yoga, dancing , and many more. We began in 2013 with more than 200 people and we plan to keep the number of participants under 300.

 

This year’s Tinukib Festival will be held in Anawangin cove, Zambales from November 8-9, 2014  . Our amazing lineup includes performers and DJs from Germany, London, Australia India, Japan, and Manila. There will also be live performances from our local artists like Leo and the Tolstoys, June Marieezy, Dayaw, Adinkra Lumad Djembe Community, Planet Zips, Poi Dancers, and many more. Fun activities, exciting games and excellent prizes await those who will be able to join us.

                                                                                                                    
Aside from helping the artists, we also intend to support the local community by promoting tourism and further promoting awareness of the importance of protecting the balanced ecosystem on the island. This will benefit not only the environment, but also will give the participants the satisfaction of partying responsibly.
