Disney was a huge part of many childhoods, including mine, which is why I was absolutely ecstatic when I first stepped into this Beauty and the Beast-themed cafe in Quezon City.
Madcafe is known for its themed cafes all around the city. It started with its first branch featuring an Alice in Wonderland theme, and now it has five branches (and counting) with a different theme in each location.
We got to check out Madcafe’s branch in SM Cubao which has a Beauty and the Beast theme. It’s pretty easy to spot with its vibrant yellow logo and the stylish alfresco dining area right in front of it. Those bright yellow umbrellas are sure to instantly brighten your day!
Entering this Madcafe location was just like entering a whole new magical realm.
One wall was designed to look like the inside of a stone castle with a “starry night sky” outside the windows.
Against another wall, there’s a massive mural of the iconic rose from Beauty and the Beast. It’s perfect for your OOTDs or for taking IG-worthy photos of their picture-perfect drinks.
My favorite part of this Madcafe location was the library-inspired seating area. It truly made me feel like Belle when she first saw her library from the Beast.
This loft-style seating area featured private booths (with power sockets!) in the lower area, while the upper spaces (also with power sockets!) are cozier options where you can sit on the floor. It’s the perfect workspace when you’re in the area, and while they might not have WiFi, you can enjoy the free internet from the mall.
This Madcafe location features exclusive drinks that are also inspired by Beauty and the Beast. You can try their Red Rose Frappe (my instant favorite) or the Beast’s Blend which is an Instagrammable milk tea drink.
We also got to try some of Madcafe’s bestselling meals such as the meaty and savory Burger Steak and the flavorful Cajun Pasta.
Their Cheesesteak Tapa Sandwich is their Pinoy twist to the Philly cheesesteak sandwich, and it’s also a must-try if you’re up for a satisfying snack.
Their delicious Kani Salad is also quite refreshing and is a great appetizer for your feast.
You’ll also enjoy topping off your sumptuous meal with their cakes and sweet drinks such as their Matcha Frappe and Oreo Milk Tea Series.
Madcafe is the place to relive your childhood and enjoy the nostalgia with some of your favorite fictional characters. Whether you love Beauty and the Beast or you’re just looking for a cozy place to enjoy a meal or finish some deadlines, Madcafe is a great option for you.
