These Life Insurers Made History with Online Sculpture Build

Filipinos are now more open-minded when it comes to life insurance. Gone are the days when people get it for their elders. For the past years, more and more young adults are becoming more responsible with their hard-earned money.

Over 500 colleagues across 12 of Manulife’s offices in Asia, including 100 in the Philippines, came together to build trophies out of interlocking building bricks, with awards for the fastest finishers in each market.

And because of that, Manulife Philippines, Manulife Business Processing Services (MBPS) and Manulife IT Delivery Center Asia (MITDC) are excited to announce that its #winningteam in Asia has set a new world record! 

The event, which symbolizes Manulife’s ambition and growth, was confirmed by Guinness World RecordsTM to represent a new record for the “most people building interlocking brick sculptures online and in a single venue simultaneously.”

Congratulations to Manulife Philippines’ Jonathan Feleo, MITDC’s Ron Del Rosario and MBPS’ David Andrew Beltran for being the fastest to complete the sculpture in the Philippines. 

As Rahul Hora, Manulife Philippines President and CEO, mentioned, the Guinness World RecordsTM attempt was a fun and exciting way for their colleagues to engage with their ambition to be the leading Pan Asian life insurer. “We were delighted to see so many colleagues come together for this record-breaking activity, and we hope this will help to supercharge our teams towards another big year in 2023,” he added.
