The show picks up in the aftermath of Hannah’s death and the start of the characters’ journeys toward healing and recovery. The school prepares to go to trial, but someone will stop at nothing to keep the truth surrounding Hannah’s death concealed. A series of ominous polaroids lead Clay and his classmates to uncover a sickening secret and a conspiracy to cover it up.
13 Reasons Why is a TV show about a girl who commits suicide. She leaves behind a series of tapes, each explaining the 13 reasons why she did it. Rotten Tomatoes calls it “a gripping look at adolescent grief whose narrative maturity belies its YA milieu.” It is based on a book by Jay Asher.
The show’s second season will return to Netflix on May 18.
