AccorHotels and the Araneta Group of Companies formally opened Novotel Manila Araneta Center last March 8, 2016 with guest-of-honor President Benigno S. Aquino III leading the Grand Launch ceremony at the hotel’s Monet Ballroom.
As the country’s first Novotel, the hotel welcomed distinguished guests to Quezon City’s premier lifestyle and entertainment hub. The evening’s entertainment began with the G-Force’s energetic dance number with performances by Mark Mabasa and singer-songwriter Rex Smith, who serenaded distinguished guests with his chart-topping classics such as “Simply Jessie” and “You Take My Breath Away” as well as a medley of well-loved Broadway hits. The revelries continued well into the midnight hour as guests flocked to the hip-and-happening The 6th-Pool Bar and Lounge. An awe-inspiring fireworks display lit up the Metro Manila skies, set to music mirroring the vibrant character of Novotel Manila Araneta Center.
