The new HONOR X9a 5G was put to the test during its official launch last January 19, 2023. Celebrities, guests from the media, and partners gathered in an overnight event at Taal Vista Hotel Tagaytay to experience the toughness of the new smartphone.

They were challenged to shoot HONOR X9a 5G’s screen with a toy gun and, in a paired drop test, one had to throw the phone while the other tried to catch it. A selfie area set up facing Taal also aimed to highlight HONOR X9a 5G’s super triple camera. Guests tried to capture the famous volcano in crisp photos with the help of HONOR X9a 5G.
The viral phone was also put to test with outdoor badminton and other smash challenges.
