The sport archery has seen a recent surge in popularity. Being featured in hit movies such as “The Hunger Games” series, “Brave,” and “The Avengers,” it’s really no wonder. Target archery can be practiced indoors or outdoors; plus, it can be a fantastic workout for the arms and back, too, says Mr. Marti Bismark, Archery Representative of Gandiva Archery and Café. For beginners, Bismark suggests sampling the sport at their facility with their top-notch rental gears, learning safety rules, and getting fitted properly before buying any equipment or making it a lifestyle sport.
You might consider archery as an alternative lifestyle compared to the usual sports and fitness camp nowadays. In fact, Gandiva is totally accessible to everyone, making it easy to learn the sport. Here, they will provide you basic lessons as part of their services. It is also a great way to meet people and have fun while challenging yourself on the range.
Gandiva recently re-launched their newly renovated archery range and improved menu at their café. The facility, which had been recently renovated for aesthetic purposes, now has an advanced armory that can service all of their customers’ equipment needs–for enthusiasts and professionals alike. Gandiva Archery even offers a one-time membership package fee of P5,000 that is valid for a year, inclusive of awesome perks like free training hours, discounts at the cafe, archery, and merchandise, plus more. The place is open from 10AM to 9PM (Mondays – Saturdays) and 10AM to 7PM on Sundays (Archery Range only).
Gandiva Café, on the other hand, uncovers new dishes created to cater to vegan taste buds. Aside from their bestselling Vegetarian Sisig, their Head Chef and Cafe Manager, Ivan Go, highly recommends Tofu Bolognese, White Cheese Pesto, and their new and improved Gandiva Burger. All must-try dishes!
As the night unfolded, everyone got competitive as we played their archery challenge. It consists of 5 teams with one coach and 3 members per team. It was like Clash of Clans (COC) as we searched for gems and treasures in exchange of arrows, in which we were scored as we use them at the Olympic-size target range.
Gandiva Café and Archery surely has a lot to offer to beginners, enthusiasts, and pros. From archery trials, top-notch equipment, service repairs, and even for vegan dining pleasure. If you want to try out this cool sport, Gandiva’s doors are open for you. They aim to improve focus, fitness, harnessing your archery skills, and the ability to just have fun. And I must say, here, it feels as though anything can be achieved on your first visit. Call it beginner’s luck, but I got a bull’s-eye on mine!
