‘The Grand French Wine and Cheese Tour’ Is Having a 2nd Edition This March

The Tasting Club, in partnership with Alliance Française de Manille, The French Chamber of  Commerce in The Philippines, the Embassy of France to the Philippines and Society Lounge, is pleased to invite you to  the 2nd edition in 2024 of “The Grand French Wine and Cheese Tour” this Saturday, March 2, at 6pm.

The Grand French Wine and Cheese Tour 2nd Edition

“The Grand French Wine and Cheese Tour” is an exciting program of 8 tasting events that will present the wines, cheeses, and other gastronomic specialties of each major region in France every month. This popular program was already hosted in 2022 and it allowed over 400 attendees to explore 8 regions and experience about 40 different wines paired with 40 traditional cheeses and other French specialties.

For the 2nd tasting event of the year, the participants will experience the wines, cheeses, and other specialties of the South West of France for a fun and interactive tasting experience. Known as “France’s Hidden Corner”, the South West region is tucked away between the Pyrénées Mountains and Spain to the south, Bordeaux to the north, and the Atlantic Ocean on the west. It may be the least known wine region in France but it still offers a great variety of unique wines.

The Grand French Wine and Cheese Tour 2nd Edition

To represent the great diversity of this region, The Tasting Club has selected various wines produced from authentic blend and grape varieties, such as the native Malbec. To elevate the delicious wine selection, a line-up of traditional cheeses will be also presented during the event.
