The Epic (3D Animation) Movie Review: A Movie of Tiny People with Big Lessons

You might, however, hate the movie parts when it is all dark and gray, and Mandrake (Christoph Waltz), head of the evil Boggans will talk in devious and sharp tones. But that’s how convincing the scenes and character (and the voice) are, that you could only wish for a superhero to help our little leafmen and its army.

It may not be enough an entertainment to hear celebrity singers to give life to the characters, you might even find yourself stomping as Nim Gud treat the movie-goers to a lively show.  No head-banging needed.  Oh, and Pitbull is in the movie too, as Bufo –  a toad with an attitude.

The film is a colorful treat to the kids, and the animation is almost close to reality especially when scenes transform from the the lively colors of green to the dark, gray backgrounds of the Boggans’ camp.  The comedy antics and lines might have been something that you have heard from another movie, but it is the characters’ delivery and the characters themselves that make the punch lines alot funnier. It is not everyday that we see talking slugs in a movie.

EPIC

Epic will bring us to the world that is beautiful and balanced; while teaching us that no matter how small you are, you have a big role in saving the world. It sounds big, but really, one just need to believe in the things that he/she may not see, and appreciate what you have before it is gone.

Here are our epic pictures with Nim Gud!
