Alex Band and the rest of The Calling invaded Manila and staged their first ever concert in the country at the Mall of Asia Arena last November 11. The group who rose to prominence in 2001 with their breakthrough album “Camino Palmero” which contained the hit songs “Could It Be Any Harder” , “Adrienne”, “Stigmatized” and the mega smash hit “Wherever You Will Go” which was named by Billboard magazine, the number one song of the decade on the Adult Pop Charts and a main staple of karaoke jams in the country.
After an indefinite hiatus in 2013 and Alex Band’s solo outing, the group reformed with a new line up minus original and founding member Aaron Kamin.
