Taylor Swift Sends $1,989 to a Fan to Help Pay Her Student Loans

Taylor Swift can really be a spectacular “Secret Santa”, especially after she sent gifts to some of her fans last Christmas, where she even delivered one herself. Even if Christmas is already over, Swift is still continuously painting smiles (and causing tears of joy) to some of her fans.

Recently, she sent a special package to one of her fans, Rebekah Bortniker or Beks, whose profile on Tumblr is like an online shrine for the pop singer.

The package contained several items including a handwritten card, a Polaroid of Swift “painting flowers for Rebekah”, the framed painting, and Swift’s necklace with a note “Was mine, now yours.” The biggest surprise inside the box is check worth $1,989 with a note from Swift that said, “Rebekah, now you’re $1,989 close to paying those student loans.”
