Apart from being recognized as Artist of the Decade, Taylor Swift just made history with the most number of American Music Awards trophies in history.
After winning Artist of the Year and Favorite Pop/Rock Album, the singer amassed 25 AMAs, beating Michael Jackson’s record of 24.
Just last year, Tay was recognized for having the most AMA wins of a female artist, surpassing Whitney Houston.
Can we say, legends only?
This year, the singer is nominated five times, for Artist of the Year, Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist, Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist, Favorite Music Video for “You Need to Calm Down,” and Favorite Pop/Rock Album for Lover.
During the ceremony, she delivered a performance to celebrate her biggest hits from the last 13 years, including “Love Story,” “I Knew You Were Trouble,” and “Blank Space.
” For “Shake It Off,” she brought out Camila Cabello and Halsey as special guests. The medley also included newer hits like “The Man” and “Lover.
