Who would’ve ever thought that we would see a collaboration between multi-awarded composer Andrew Lloyd Webber and international pop star Taylor Swift? While both are esteemed in their own right, it’s a crossover that’s simply surprising. And with the recent release of the track, it’s one you can now judge for yourself.

Entitled “Beautiful Ghosts”, the new song will feature in the upcoming live-action Cats movie over the course of the film as well as in the credits. The released version has Swift performing the vocals but the movie’s version will feature Francesca Hayward in the role of Victoria. Swift’s rendition will play over the credits.
Director Tom Hooper has only praise to shower for “Beautiful Ghosts”. “What I couldn’t believe was the extraordinary beauty of these lyrics that Taylor had written,” he shares. “It was as if someone had come into the film I was in the middle of making and … had reflected back to me a profound understanding of what we are trying to do with the movie. It was utterly thrilling.”
