As the Philippines continues to expand healthcare access through digital technologies and accessible medical services, Taiwanese healthcare innovators are bringing next-generation smart medical solutions straight to Manila.
Happening from September 17–19, 2026, at SMX Convention Center Manila, the Taiwan Healthcare Pavilion at Taiwan Expo 2026 will feature 21 leading tech and biotech firms specializing in telehealth, smart hospital technology, biotech, and wellness.

Bringing Smart Healthcare Solutions to the Philippines
Taiwan has built a global reputation for healthcare efficiency, supported by its comprehensive National Health Insurance program and advanced digital health integration.
Among the key participants, Shuang Ho Hospital will present its state-of-the-art smart healthcare capabilities and international medical services, offering precision medicine and integrated care designed to address the needs of international patients.
Taiwanese technology and biotechnology companies will also present solutions aimed at addressing specific healthcare challenges. Quanta Computer will display its QOCA o2b, a healthcare solution designed to streamline patient monitoring and improve efficiency in telehealth services across urban and provincial healthcare facilities. The technology comes as demand for remote healthcare and home-based monitoring continues to create new opportunities in the Philippine healthcare sector.
Meanwhile, BioGend Therapeutics will introduce its One-Step Autologous Cartilage Repair System, a regenerative medicine breakthrough designed to accelerate joint recovery and minimize the need for secondary surgical procedures.
Expanding Opportunities Beyond Technology
Beyond hardware and digital platforms, the pavilion spotlights Taiwan’s established expertise across high-precision medical fields, including organ transplantation, reproductive medicine, and cardiovascular care. Taiwanese medical institutions have developed expertise in areas such as living-donor liver transplantation, advanced in-vitro fertilization technologies, and high-precision cardiovascular procedures.
Beyond showcasing individual technologies, the Taiwan Healthcare Pavilion aims to foster long-term technical partnerships between Philippine and Taiwanese healthcare stakeholders, supporting higher-quality, accessible care across local communities.
The initiative marks an exciting step forward in strengthening healthcare ties between Taiwan and the Philippines, opening up new possibilities for technical collaboration and better access to high-quality healthcare for Filipinos.
