In case you haven’t heard of King Bally Inc., they are a gaming and sports production company based in the Philippines that produces sports and entertainment events in cooperation with charitable institutions, like the Christian Service Mission Philippines (CSMP).
It is no secret that the Philippines has a passion for sports. Well, because of this, King Bally has been donating sports equipment to various local foundations and providing educational assistance to chosen beneficiaries. In 2016, King Bally produced charity billiards and basketball events for the benefit of the CSMP.
Right now, King Bally has an ongoing project to establish sustainable sports and education programs to benefit underprivileged Filipino youth. One of their most recent events involved partnering with NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo aka the Greek Freak to share the importance of education working hand in hand with sports as tools to empower children on their path to a brighter future.

Prior to Giannis’ arrival, a mini basketball tournament was held amongst Makati Science High School students. Those who excelled were then awarded with sports equipment and educational assistance. The campus also received sporting goods and a brand new basketball court with fiberglass backboards. How cool is that?
The tournament finals and awarding all happened in Glorietta in front of a live audience where local basketball stars and Giannis made an appearance to show their support for the cause, effectively empowering Filipinos to take a step further for their passion in sports – something which can lead to great success in life. The event also infused the value of teamwork, sacrifice, responsibility, dedication, good sportsmanship and hard work, while at the same time showcasing how following a passion in sports can lead to great benefits.
Giannis told us all about his hardships growing up and how passionate he was about basketball all throughout his life. Despite all of this, though, he still made it into the NBA. By sharing his story, he reminded all of us to always follow our dreams and push to reach our goals. After all, it is those who don’t give up who end up turning their dreams into a reality.
