It seems that local foodies never run out of new places to explore these days! Here’s the latest to tick off your must-visit list: Applebee’s! That’s right, the American franchise is finally opening here in the Philippines, and we’ve got the scoop on what they have in store for our hungry bellies.
4-Cheese Mac & Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders – PHP 385
Slated to officially open late September this year at the W Global Center in BGC, expect our local Applebee’s to serve up the classic American grill and bar’s staple comfort food selection coupled with their trademark quality service. And the best part is they’re bringing in the exact items on the original Applebee’s menu! No need to fly to the States to get your fill of their amazing Ribs and Quesadilla Burger! They also plan on opening two more Applebee’s branches within Manila in the coming months as well – definitely something to look forward to.
Pot Stickers – PHP 225
Veering from the original Applebee’s bar concept, our local version is set to be more “family-friendly,” with spacious tables and seating at the second floor specifically made for big groups and servings that are meant for sharing. Signature cocktails are still ever-present on the menu though, and a bar will be available at the ground floor right as you enter. Another striking contrast from the original concept is the store’s interiors, which showcase a sleeker and more modern look with leather couches, bold wall art and streamlined interior details.
Pork Ribs – PHP 650 for a half rack, PHP 950 for a full rack

Quesadilla Burger – PHP 525
This is, basically, a genius hybrid of all our favorite meals: a cheesy Jack and Cheddar quesadilla stuffed with a juicy burger slathered with Applebee’s signature Mexi-ranch sauce, lettuce, and pico de gallo. SO. MUCH. WIN.
Cowboy Burger – PHP 525
This burger definitely has all the good stuff: white cheddar cheese, smoked bacon, a thick and juicy burger patty, honey BBQ sauce, and ONION STRINGS! A true Western-style burger, with every bite packing up a punch.
Judging from all the dishes we got to try, it’s safe to say that Applebee’s has got the comfort-food formula all figured out! We can’t get enough of their Pork Ribs, Boneless Chicken Bites, and their Quesadilla Burger. We’ll definitely be coming back to Applebee’s when it officially opens!
