Summer getaway at Summit Ridge Hotel Tagaytay

When In Manila and looking for a relaxing getaway head on over to Tagaytay, the nearest destination with freezing atmosphere & amazing views!  Taking pride for the best views of Taal Volcano is Summit Ridge Hotel.

Had the privilege of spending the night at Summit Ridge Tagaytay along with other bloggers. We went straight after our pig out session at Robinson’s Galleria’s Veranda. Surprisingly it took us less than an hour to get to Tagaytay from Galleria! Since we got in early we got to check in and enjoy the rest of the afternoon (& time to digest our meals) till—yes, dinner. For the mean time I got to lounge around in my beautiful relaxing room!

Got to tour the facilities. Its awesome that they can satisfy every type of gathering. May it be a corporate event, banquet, retreats and my favorite: Rooftop party. All in a very reasonable price! I really am thinking of having a rooftop party on their sky lounge on my 19th birthday. (Haha, yes Im currently 18)

(Left) Sky Lounge is located at the very top floor, surrounded by balconies overlooking the majestic view of  Taal lake. My favorite gathering place in the hotel. This is open to any of the guests. I would come up here, play the piano that’s always there and just chill, literally.

Other facilities like the ballrooms, training rooms, events lawn, function rooms and the pride of Summit Ridge, the Summit Learning Center.

The Summit Learning Center (Left) looks like a giant Harvard classroom. It’s elevated seats each with its own light, comfortable chairs and outlets designed to for forums and other scholastic gatherings or talks. We were even planning to show a movie on the giant screen that they had! Very versatile.

Need to burn those calories? Check out the court & gym. I had no idea that under the Veranda of Summit Ridge is a huge court!

Time for dinner– Summer BBQ nights! This is an exclusive buffet dinner with everything grilled! It was awesome to sit outside with blankets waiting for us on our seats. Definitely a personalized & cozy dining experience.
With a choice from Beef, Chicken or pork kebabs which will be grilled for you and served at your table. The pork kebabs were superb!!

Side dishes like fish, baked potatoes with molten cheese and some macaroni! Also, they have a nice bar list with wines and mocktails. YUM!
