Mr. Fast Foo serves your meals with all the perks of your usual fast food joint–quick, tasty, and affordable. What sets the Chinese cuisine diner apart is their inexpensive yet healthy platter menu which is complete with Go, Glow and Grow foods needed to sustain every Filipino body. The restaurant also prides itself on being MSG-free, and ensuring low salt content in all their meals. Not only that—the platter comes with a free drink, mini dessert, and unlimited rice for as low as P115! A steal that your wallet and health will thank you for. Check out some of the restaurant’s highlights from our visit!
Beef Brisket Platter Meal
Lechon Macau Platter Meal (P159)
First off is the Lechon Macau Platter, or as I like to call it, the Lechon Mac-wow. This oven baked pork belly is tender yet crispy and was marinated in a five-spice Chinese powder that fills it with flavor. The set comes with Unlimited Rice (Go), Pork Belly and Lumpiang Shanghai (Grow), a side of veggies (Glow), and Butchi for dessert. For even cheaper platter options, they also have Kikiam (P115), Shanghai Rice (P119), Pork Siomai (P137), and Pork Tonkatsu (P139).
Fresh Lump#yaaas (P75 Regular/ P90 Special)
If vegetables is what you’re after, their fresh lumpia should be your best bet. Its nutty, savory taste is packed in the chopped veggies that fill the paper thin wrap to the brim. Not to mention how handy it is to carry around on the go, which makes for a convenient, delicious, and healthy snack.
Chicken Barbecue Rice Bowl (P98)
For platter meals without the frills, Mr. Fast Foo also has rice bowl counter parts for each of those dishes. These are your straightforward rice bowls with toppings such as Asado (P119), Soy Chicken (P94), Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet (P99), and Chicken Barbecue (P98).
The prices remain incredibly affordable, ranging from P69 to P132 depending on the topping of your choice.
Beef Mami (P102)
Avoiding rice in general? This bowl of egg noodles and tender beef brisket, topped with fresh spring onion and baguio pechay, is a great healthy meal for the upcoming rainy days ahead. You can also try out some of their other hot and steamy soup bowls including Maki Mi (P97), Wanton Mami (P93), and Asado Wanton (P115).
Last but not least, Mr. Fast Foo has a great deal on summer treats with a 25% price roll back from 2 pm to 5 pm! Make sure to grab a Halo-halo (P40), Lychee Cooler (P20), Gulaman (P20) and more while you can!
