Gerald Anderson appeared as a guest in fellow PBB alumnus Joe Vargas’ YouTube vlog, answering questions about showbiz and his love life. Anderson and Vargas are close friends, even owning a gym together in Quezon City called The Th3rd Floor.
In the video, shot at The Th3rd Floor, Vargas challenged Anderson to shoot balls into the ring. Vargas would ask questions—if Anderson gets the shot then he is allowed to not respond to the question, but if he misses, he has to answer.
Many of the questions probe into Anderson’s love life, besides questions about showbiz and his new resort in Zambales. One of the questions was whether Anderson had plans to get married, to which the actor responded, “Siyempre naman! Iyon ‘yung next chapter ng buhay natin. Inaayos natin lahat ‘yan.” And when asked if he has a kid, he responded, “Wala pa pero sana soon.”
However, when asked directly by Vargas whether he is taken, Anderson makes the shot, ultimately giving him a pass from answering the question. (Sorry, folks.) Rumors have been swirling about a romance between him and actress Julia Barretto since 2019, since the infamous ghosting incident between him and ex-girlfriend Bea Alonzo blew up the internet. Julia Barretto was rumored to be the reason for the break-up.
And finally, when asked “Gaano kasaya ang puso mo ngayon?” Anderson missed his shot, ultimately responding with, “Sobrang saya. Marami akong dahilan para maging masaya.”
Whether this is a hint that the actor is indeed currently in a relationship, only time will tell—or at least until he finally speaks up about it.
