Smart Communications, Inc. just announced another innovation, a world’s first as they claim, that will give its subscribers further convenience in buying apps and making in-app purchases for games, e-books, magazines, music, and movies on your Apple devices using only your prepaid load or reflected on your monthly postpaid bill.
Smart introduced the “Pay-with-Mobile” service for Apple that eliminated the need for a credit card when making purchases on your iPhone or iPad through the Apple store or iTunes. This aids in solving the problem that many Filipinos face, which is not having a credit card that prevents users to maximize the capabilities of their Apple devices.
It works by giving you the ability to sign up for a Pay-With-Mobile number which you can use exclusively with your iTunes accounts. All app downloads, in-app purchases, and digital content bought using Pay-With-Mobile will be deducted from your prepaid load or charged on top of your monthly postpaid bills.

With only your Smart mobile number, you can register to Pay-with-Mobile and start making those purchases to boost your Apple devices. To get started, you only need to register by texting REG to 4949. You will receive a Pay-With-Mobile number and other pertinent account details. Once ready, you can go to the Apple ID Account Settings page on iTunes or the App Store, select “MasterCard” as payment option, and enter the number and other details on the corresponding fields.
The Pay-With-Mobile service is just the latest in Smart’s commitment to bring its users the best Internet for all your needs, with instant and convenient access to your favorite books, movies, music, apps, and gaming content using your cellphone load or postpaid accounts.
Smart’s Pay-with-Mobile service will roll out on February 16, with full availability by February 18.
