When in Manila and up for the extreme, you should check out the number one boardsorts website in the Philippines – MyLifeOnBoard.Net. They have served the boardsorts community by promoting the scene both locally and internationally. Their goal? “To highlight the boardsports athletes in our country, giving them the chance to be recognized in their field of expertise, making them known and be credited about their talents spreading stoke of boardsports all over the world“, said Mike Eijansantos, Managing Director and EIC.
Boardsports is currently one of the most popular outdoor action sports in the country. Most Filipino enthusiasts have even competed internationally and won in this field. And with the advent of almost everything eco-friendly, sporting activities are also now known to be effective means to promote ecosport-tourism in different localities.
Recently, My Life on Board, along with Aloha Boardsports, BBX Productions and CrossRoads Concepts Productions, brought to us Skate to the Promise Land – a downhill longboard race and skateboarding competition participated by outdoor action sports netizens from all over the Philippines.
It was an action-packed weekend in Subic as extreme sports enthusiasts gathered for the skateboarding competition and rock concert with Salamin. Since day 1, My Life on Board has kept everyone busy with the different activities they have lined up, such as the highest ollie challenge, longboarding freestyle and skate jam, Aerial7 skate jam challenge, and Aerial7 best skate run challenge open. Open classes were also held for those who wanted to learn more about the nitty gritty of rail challenges and ledge challenges.
To the finish line!…
…and beyond!
My Life on Board is the brainchild of husband and wife tandem Mike and Pam Eijansantos. I’ve heard their story behind their website and believe me, they are a living testimony to God’s promise that He will bless those who believe in Him. Passion and faith in God can really lead to wonders. No wonder they have attracted extreme sports enthusiasts not just from Manila and the nearby towns, but also people from as far as Cebu and Davao! Talk about devotion!

All for the love of the board!
Good thing Red Cross was there to help. Thank you, Red Cross!
Check points were also plotted to ensure the safety of the players.
The event surely helped in the new tourism glam campaign “More Fun in the Philippines”! All in the name of promoting extreme sports, arts, and music throughout our country.
