Singapore’s First WWE Wrestler Wins Debut Match in Just 1 Minute

Sean Tan a.k.a. Dante Chen became the first Singaporean wrestler to make it to the World Wrestling Entertainment squared circle yesterday. The 25-year-old won on his debut match on the weekly “WWE NXT 2.0” show besting Trey Baxter in just one minute. The match was quick but the debutant made an impression that would definitely last.

Tan was reportedly among a new group of recruits from Asia who reported for training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando in July 2021. Previously known as Trexxus, he was also the Southeast Asia Champion at the 2017 Singapore Pro Wrestling promotion.
