Sharon Cuneta was pleasantly surprised when she discovered that her name was trending on Twitter as fans began to dream-cast her for the role of Dr. Foster in the upcoming Pinoy Remake.
The hashtag “#SharonCunetaDrFosterPH” led the list of top trending topics in the Philippines on the social media platform, with netizens expressing their desire for the Megastar to portray the general practitioner who begins to suspect her husband is having an affair and whose life beings to unravel with every secret she finds.

On Instagram, Sharon couldn’t help but gush over the news and thank everyone who dream-casted her for the series.
“OMG! Thank you so much! Would absolutely love to play her!!!” she wrote.
For the past week, ABS-CBN has been teasing the reveal of the main cast of the Pinoy Remake, suggesting that they have already chosen the actors and actresses to play the roles. It is unknown when they plan to make the announcement.
It was on April 13 when ABS-CBN announced its collaboration with BBC Studios to create a Philippine version of “Dr. Foster” which was also the story that the popular Korean Drama “The World of The Married” was based on. Among those rumored to be part of the remake are Judy Ann Santos, Jodi Sta. Maria, Piolo Pascual, and Charlie Dizon.
