At the “New_” world tour encore concert on April 5 at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium, SEVENTEEN’s leader S.Coups announced that all 13 members have renewed their exclusive contracts with PLEDIS Entertainment.
“As many of you probably know, SEVENTEEN is approaching something important. We felt it was only right to share this with you [before] CARAT LAND, so I’m speaking on behalf of the members,” S.Coups said in Korean, with an English translation published on Soompi.
He shared: “After having deep conversations among ourselves, all 13 of us decided to renew our contracts. We’ll stay on the same ship and keep rowing forward together with all our strength. Thank you.”
Aside from S.Coups, members Joshua, Mingyu, DK, The8, Jun, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino performed at the encore concert. Meanwhile, members Jeonghan, Wonwoo, Hoshi, and Woozi are currently fulfilling their mandatory military enlistment duties.
The “New_” world tour, which spanned for seven months, included a Bulacan stop. Filipino CARATs were able to see the beloved K-pop group at the Philippine Sports Stadium in March 2025.
Following the encore concert, it is expected that other members will now embark on their military service.
In 2021, the group announced that they had renewed their contracts with PLEDIS Entertainment.
SEVENTEEN is a popular K-pop boy group that is best known for their viral hits “VERY NICE,” “HOT, “Rock With You,” and “MAESTRO,” among others.
