A beloved senior cat fondly known as Papa Bon or Big Boy, has once again fallen victim to an act of cruelty after being savagely scalded on his torso.

According to Cats of Eastwood City, the incident occurred in a high-foot-traffic area between Rue Bourbon and Pasto in Eastwood City, the same location where three similar attacks on community cats have taken place over the past year.
“This area is high traffic and someone must have seen something between Saturday night / Sunday Morning,” the community noted. “We will not post the photos of his wounds here, they are graphic but they are available on request.”
The Cats of Eastwood City described Big Boy as “a docile lump of a cat, easy to handle, extremely friendly despite his size, and loves attention from humans.”
The community also revealed that Big Boy was first scalded a year ago, had only recently recovered, and was attacked again this month.
“Injuring a defenseless animal like this is psychopathic behavior. Are these the types of individuals we want in the community? If you have any information, please contact us,” they stated.
Big Boy is currently recovering and receiving care from the community.
The Cats of Eastwood City is asking the public for help in identifying the perpetrator to prevent further acts of animal cruelty. You can contact them via Facebook.
