Philippines Makes A Strong Start At SEA Games 2019 With 42 Medals

Team Philippines made quite the showing on Day 1 of the 30th Southeast Asian Games. Our athletes racked up a total of 42 medals — 23 gold medals, 12 silver medals, and 7 bronze medals — putting the Philippines way ahead of the pack. Following behind the Philippines on the medal tally is Vietnam with a total of 27 medals then Thailand with 15 medals.
