Sayaw Manila: TenQ – Celebrating Ten Years of Dance and Charity
On January 25 and 26, 2014, the UP Manila Indayog Dance Varsity (Indayog) will be staging its tenth annual benefit dance concert, Sayaw Manila: TenQ, in Star Theater.
Celebrating an impressive decade of uniting the diverse UP Manila population through dance, Indayog will also be donating proceeds to its beneficiary of many years, Buhay Makulay Foundation. The dance concert will feature performances by invited college-based and professional dance troupes as well as ten performances paying tribute to the most celebrated pieces in past Sayaw Manila productions.
“Sayaw Manila 10 is the culmination of years of sweat, late nights, and tears. It is the time when Indayog looks back and moves forward as it builds a new house for its creativity,” says Prof. Jose V. Ogatis I, the organization’s adviser.
