Beloved cartoon Samurai Jack is officially getting its own console game, over a decade since its last one!
Adult Swim Games and Soleil made the announcement online through the release of its official trailer. Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time is set to be a hack-and-slash game that will follow Jack through different time periods and realities on a quest to defeat the demon Aku.
Head writer for the series, Darrick Bachman, wrote the script for the game.
Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC this summer 2020.
Samurai Jack surprised fans in 2017 when it premiered its fifth and final season on Adult Swim, 13 years since it was taken off the air from Cartoon Network. It was received eight Emmy Awards, four of which were for its final season.
