Maris Racal and Rico Blanco first confirmed their relationship back in May, after speculations from people about a romance between the two. And since the couple went public, all we can say is, sana all. The cute new couple, despite their big age gap (Blanco is 48, Maris is 23), have shared that they are unfazed by negative comments from people, with Maris even sharing that their relationship has her mom’s blessing.
And for the first time since May, the two shared the stage on ASAP Natin ‘To to perform a song together for Maris’ birthday celebration. The couple sang Abot Langit, a song collaboration between the two that was released in 2019. In a short interview after their performance, Rico gushed about Maris, sharing that one of the reasons he loves her is because “she’s an amazing person.”
When asked for a birthday message for his girlfriend, Rico said: “Madami kang gustong gawin, narinig ko yung mga bagong kanta niya, marami pa siyang ideas. So sana huwag kang ma-frustrate na medyo challenging yung times ngayon.” Rico also added, “Just continue enjoying what you do, because I think if you enjoy the process, you can dream whatever dream [na gusto mo] marating.”
