Finally, the long-awaited return of Rex Navarrete to Manila is happening! One of the funniest Filipinos on the planet is heading back home, and he is doing a one-night-only stand-up special on July 22nd at The Music Museum, and you don’t want to miss it!
Rex Navarrete is one of the pillars of Filipino Stand-Up comedy and has paved the way for other Filipino comedians and local Filipino comedians to be recognized and appreciated. Rex has been writing and performing jokes since the 1980s and has released top-selling comedy albums since 1998.
He was known for his jokes about “Tito Boy”, “SBC Packers,” and “Marites versus the Super Friends.”
When talking about his style and writing jokes, Rex says, “Our struggles become our comedy, which makes his jokes relatable and truly represents Filipino humor at its funniest.
