At yesterday’s State of the Nation Address (SONA) where the country’s leaders gather for the President’s last address, one public figure was seen sneaking!
…Sneaking at the back door of the Plenary Hall that is, in order to escape the red carpet!
According to Rep. Leni Robredo’s official Facebook page, it’s the third time in a row she’s hidden from the red carpet of the SONA, which is usually glittered with best-dressed public servants and celebrities, not unlike a fashion gala!
It’s also the first time she was caught, as someone caught the act on cam.
The caption on her page says:
Gotcha!! Was caught on cam on my way to the backdoor entrance of the Plenary Hall to escape the red carpet. 3rd year in a row I did this. First time to be caught????
So just to be clear guys, Rep. Leni Robredo was not sneaking in or out, or escaping from anything… she was just hiding from the red carpet to avoid the eyes of photographers who would most likely be asking “who” she is wearing!
In recent years where the SONA has become something resembling a fashion event and the best-dressed attendees are featured everywhere, this is a refreshing sight!
What do you think of Rep. Leni Robredo “escaping” the SONA red carpet??
