American emo/pop-punk band Real Friends is set to make their long-awaited Manila debut on August 15, 2025, at Bar IX in Molito, Alabang, as part of their Southeast Asia Tour 2025. Regional promoter Collective Touring brings the show to the Philippines and features support from Jakarta-based pop-punk band Summerlane and Filipino pop-punk band Android 18.
Known for their emotionally raw lyrics and anthemic guitar-driven sound, Real Friends has been a defining voice in modern emo and pop-punk since forming in 2010 in Tinley Park, Illinois. With more than 150 million streams and a devoted global following, their heartfelt storytelling resonates with fans across generations.

This tour marks the band’s first Southeast Asian run with new frontman Cody Muraro, who joined the group in 2020. Alongside Dave Knox (guitar), Kyle Fasel (bass/lyrics), Eric Haines (guitar), and Brian Blake (drums), the quintet will perform tracks from their highly praised 2024 self-released album Blue Hour, under their independent label Midwest Trash.
“Blue Hour is our most personal work to date,” said bassist and lyricist Fasel. “We want these songs to connect with people in whatever moment they’re in.” The record dives into themes of grief and growth with songs like Waiting Room — a poignant track about losing a loved one — and Our Love Was Like a Sad Song, a vulnerable reflection on mental health and healing.
The Manila show will be held at Bar IX in Molito, Alabang. Tickets are exclusively available via Ticketmelon. A special “Barkada Package” is also being offered at PHP22,000.00 (exclusive of taxes and ticketing fees), which includes 5+1 VIP tickets, one bottle of Jack Daniel’s, non-alcoholic beverages for six, and a bar chow platter.
