Although Rayver Cruz has captured the hearts of many his fans through his mesmerizing dance moves, he wants to let everyone know more about the side of him that wants to be a talented singer!
During a press conference for the upcoming second season of talent competition The Clash of which he and Julie Anne San Jose are the newest Clash Masters, Rayver revealed how grateful he is for the opportunities being given to him to show his singing side ever since transferring to GMA-7 from the rival network last year.

“Lahat po kasi talaga alam na sobrang passionate ko sa pagsasayaw,” he said. “Ang ‘di kasi alam ng lahat [ay] mahilig din po akong kumanta. ‘Di naman po ako super singer pero mahilig din po ako kumanta.”
He said that his passion to sing is what gives him enough confidence to be able to host The Clash well with Asia’s Pop Sweetheart Julie.
“Confident naman po ako na kahit papano alam ko rin naman po kung sino yung special na singer,” he added.
When asked if he will want to hone his hidden talent, he said that he’s open to it in order to try new things in his career.

“I always want to learn and alam ko kasi na ang strength ko kasi comes from dancing pero alam ko rin [sa] sarili ko na kaya kong kumanta so gusto ko rin po talaga magpa-voice lessons kung magkakaroon po ng oras para at least mahasa pa ng husto kasi sayang po eh.”
He also recommended everyone to search for videos of him performing songs on YouTube!
