PSA: NLEX Authority Issues Traffic Advisory for Iglesia Ni Cristo Centennial Celebration
When in Manila and planning a trip up north this weekend, it might be better to push it to a later date because NLEX authority issued a traffic advisory for the Centennial Celebration of Iglesia Ni Cristo happening on July 27, 2014. The celebration will be held at the Philippine Arena in the newly inaugurated Ciudad de Victoria located between Bocaue and Santa Maria, Bulacan. NLEX authority warned northbound motorists to expect high volume of traffic beginning July 23 to July 27, 2014.
NLEX authority estimates that more than 82,000 vehicles, which according to them translates to about a million people, are expected to attend this event.
NLEXÂ authority said, “So to spare you some discomfort, we suggest that the planned trip be moved on another date. Yet, if that trip is important [and] it can’t be moved, we are always around, with our road assistance patrols, smiling tellers, and the best in traffic handling.”
