Princess Hazel Salon and Spa: The One-Stop Place for Royal Pampering
ย
When it gets crowded and fast-paced in the metro, it’s easy to get stressed out from the hustle and bustle around you. Luckily, there are many different ways to de-stress out there. Let me share my R & R (rest and relaxation) experience in Princess Hazel Salon and Spa with you. Finding this salon is a bit tricky as it is a hidden gem in the Pacific Century Tower in Quezon Avenue, Quezon City. As soon as I stepped intoย Princess Hazel Salon & Spa, however, I was instantly impressed by the classy Victorian palace theme of the interior design. The color motif is very regal, as well– gold and purple.
Just by the looks of it, I felt that I was about to get the royal treatment. It was a change for me, because I usually go to nail salons that have the usual girly color combinations of pink, powder blue, and white.
The waiting area provides a Victorian couch near eye-catching accessories that customers can buy. They also sell Keira hair extensions in different colors. Before Hazel Uy, the owner of the salon, established Princess Hazel Salon and Spa, she was actually into the business of selling hair and body accessories like these.
A Hotel and Restaurant Management graduate, she also studied cosmetology in the Center for Aesthetic Studies for one year. Being a fan of princesses in castles and being a regular customer of nail salons herself, she infused these two into her salon. She also wanted the convenience of a one-stop place for pampering; thus, Princess Hazel Salon and Spa was born.ย
It offers mani-pedi, waxing, body scrubs, eyelash alterations, massage, facial, hair and make-up, and even radio frequency for body contouring! For the basics, name it and they have it under budget-friendly prices! For a pretty small place, it effectively used every part of the salon for their customers’ pampering needs. The privacy is not compromised, either, so you can totally relax while they do what you want and need after a stressful day.
The first floor is where the mani-pedis are done. I believe that the best interior piece here are the “thrones”! They give you that royal feeling while your nails are being done. Queen/King peg, check!ย
Customers can choose from high quality nail lacquers like O.P.I., Zoya, Orly, and Essie to name a few. There are no additional charges for these, so you’re not limited to regular ones!
The hair salon has its own room, too. I love the chandelier and the big vanity mirror. Aside from haircuts and hair colouring, they also do rebonding and other hair treatments like Brazilian Blowouts, D2 Treatments, and Nou Nou Treatments.ย
The waxing, facial treatments, massage, body scrub, and radio frequency are done on the second floor. Read on for my body scrub pampering experience! ๐
