A picture of me and tito Eddie at coco’s birthday celebration in 2017. Every time I see him at events, He would always end up being my seatmate/drinking partner and we would have the most fun conversations. He knows my LDR love story. So often times when I see him he would always joke around and tease me about my boyfriend. He would always say “the next time you and your boyfriend see each other, there will be thunder and lightning” haha (iba ka talaga tito Eddie) Naging inside joke namin yun. So Earlier today in the middle of our script reading, we all got distracted with how strong the thunder and lightning was. I suddenly thought of tito Eddie. Few minutes later, i was told that he had just passed away. 🙁 You will truly be missed and forever remembered. RIP tito Eddie ?

Dearest Tito Eddie, we were never particularly close but you were one of the actors I really looked up to. I still remember seeing you for the first time when I was introduced in the show Kung Mawawala Ka and how your mere presence took my breath away. I have since admired you for your professionalism and passion for the craft. Whenever I see you I would always look forward to your disarming smile and charm that could sweep any woman off her feet. This was taken last year at the Cinemalaya press conference where you told me that you watched our show, State of the Art, and said the kindest things about me and the show. Thank you for being so generous with your words and spirit! I am so honored to have known you and I will forever be inspired by you. Rest In Peace and Love, Manoy. Maraming Salamat. ??

#RIPEDDIEGARCIA . So sad but knowing he died peacefully and like a soldier with his boots on, we said a little prayer for the soul of the most respected and loved Eddie Garcia. We honor the sadness felt by his family, but the legacy he left behind will forever linger on our mind. Nakakalungkot pero lagi niya sinasabi na sure siya hanggang huling hininga niya, he will still act and be an actor. Rest in Peace Eddie Garcia, we salute you icon and idol. #classiclolita #takeitperminute #72naako ❤️???
