Well, these jeepneys are looking pretty in pink!
Last February 14, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) launched pink jeepneys that will service women, senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs), plying the Guadalupe-Pateros route, according to Yahoo! News.
Fourteen jeepneys were painted in pink, while the drivers wore pink uniforms! As to why everything was in pink, they didn’t say, BUT, they will be providing transport during rush hours from 6 AM to 9 AM, and from 4 PM to 7 PM.
According to the LTFRB, this is apparently to give priority to the sector that needs more “care and respect”.
Hmmm… well here’s hoping the project goes well!
