Will Ferri killed it on the drums. I’m still in awe how perfectly his hair flowed along with the beat, lol.
“The crowd was insane and the band was sick. I already can’t wait for the next show! The most unforgettable moment for me though was during Brighter when everyone held up their phones and flashlights and the whole thing felt magical” – Arra E.
It was such an unfortunate moment for me to be on the wrong side of the stage when Chrissy did her famous “exorcist” pose! I managed to run halfway and luckily I was able to capture it clearly, just with a bad angle. At one point, I was also at the side of the stage minding my own business, taking pictures, next thing I knew Chirssy was already inches in front of me singing directly to my camera! Sadly, I was so in shock, I wasn’t able to focus and take a good picture of her. I know, I fail at life. Hahaha!
The fans were also lucky enough to hear a new-yet to be released song “Outsiders” from their upcoming, first full length album.
“They’ve topped last year’s performance and I’m very stoked for them to come back to Manila and play more songs from their new album. Chrissy gave us a preview of what their new album will sound like in the form of ‘Outsiders’. I got sad that I wasn’t able to get Chrissy’s towel but was able to get Will’s drum stick” – Cy L.

“ATC concert was superb! I can’t seem to leave the venue and kept wanting more.” – Coleen M.
After they sang “Comeback Kid”, they exited the stage but the crowd definitely wanted more. They cheered loudly in unison, saying “we want more”, “ATC”, and “encore” over and over again. A few minutes later, the band returned to the stage and performed 3 more songs – “Fireproof”, “Brighter”, and “Another You (Another Way)”.
When Chrissy sang their last song, Another You (Another Way) with lyrics that goes:
 “And I just can’t stay another night, the last thing that I ever wanted to do, was to say goodbye to you.”
The feels started to hit each and everyone of us. We knew this was their last song and that this magical night was about to end. Soon enough, the song ended and Chrissy thanked everyone who came. She said she already can’t wait to be back.
Against the Current proved yet again just how good they can put on a show. Seeing how much Chrissy, Dan, and Will grew as a band in just one year was such a proud and surreal moment. One thing’s for sure, we’re all definitely waiting for their next concert here in Manila!
